Davis Scholarship
The
Scholarship Ministry assists students who
are pursuing a college education by
providing financial assistance, information
resources, mentoring, encouragement and
testing to determine what each student's
may be.
Christian Education
The mission
of the Christian Education Ministry is to
teach and train disciples for service in the
Kingdom of God. The Ministry strives toward
the equipping of the saints, through
conferences, seminars, and workshops and
other trainings for the support and
enhancement of Ministry.
"Above
all, love each other deeply, because love
covers over a multitude of sins. Offer
hospitality to one another without
grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift
he has received to serve others, faithfully
administering God's grace in its various
forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as
one seeking the very words of God. If
anyone serves, he should do it with the
strength God provides, so that in all things
God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To
him be that glory and the power for ever and
ever. Amen." 1 Peter 4:8-11
Christian Men In
Action (C.M.I.A)
The
mission of CMIA is to provide men with
resources to develop godly character and to
equip them to influence the church and their
community for Christ. Becoming a Christian
is not a destination; it is the beginning of
a life-long journey.
Church School
II Timothy
3:16 "All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness."
Each Sunday morning at 8:45 a.m. the Sunday
School ministry offers more than twenty
educational, uplifting, edifying and
soul-stirring classes for students in
various stages of their Christian
development. The Word of God is the central
text for each class accompanied by
supplemental resource materials as persons
learn through Christ-centered teaching how
to live by faith, walk in God's power and
apply practical Christian principles to
their daily lives. Specialized classes are
offered for the hearing-impaired, teens,
married and engaged couples,
Spanish-speaking students as well as various
adult classes.
Credit Union
The
Faith Baptist Church Federal Credit Union
Ministry provides a safe place for members
to save and borrow funds for any worthwhile
purpose at a reasonable rate. Members can
save and earn dividends on their savings.
They can borrow needed funds at rates that
are usually less than the rates charged by
banks and other lenders. Unlike banks, the
credit union is owned and operated by its
members who elect members to the Board of
Directors.
Greeters
The mission
of the Greeters Ministry is to greet first
time visitors, welcome them to our worship
service, and assist all worshippers who
enter the church.

Mission
"And Jesus
came and spake unto them, saying, All power
is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go
ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I
am with you always, even unto the end of the
world. Amen." Matthew 28:18-20
"If missions languish, it is because the
whole life of godliness is feeble. The
command to go everywhere and preach to
everybody is not obeyed until the will is
lost by self-surrender in the will of God.
Living, praying, giving and going will
always be found together." -- Arthur T.

Intercessory Prayer
Intercession is to stand in the gap for
other people, to concentrate on the needs
and wants of other people. I urge,
then, first of all, that request, prayers,
intercession, and thanksgiving be made for
everyone - for kings and all those in
authority, that we may live peaceful and
quite lives in all godliness and holiness.
(1 Tim. 2:1-2)
Junior Ushers
Provides a training
environment for Faith's youth ages 11-18 as
they assist in the orderly conduct of church
services by greeting and seating
worshippers. Meetings are held on the
Thursday before the second Sunday of each
month at 6:30 p.m.
Psalm 84:10.
Music
"It came even
to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were
as one, to make one sound to be heard in
praising and thanking the Lord; and when
they lifted up their voice with the ...
instruments of music, ... that then the
house was filled with a cloud, even the
house of the Lord; so that the priests could
not stand to minister by reason of the
cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled
the house of God." II Chronicles 5:13, 14
Nurses

on the Lord. (This is to rest) Ps. 28:7 The
Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart
trusted in him and I am helped: therefore my
heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song
will I praise him. Ps. 31:24 Be of good
courage, and He shall strength your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. Ps. 73:26 My
flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the
strength of my heart, and my portion
forever. Prov. 4:24 Keep thy heart will all
diligence; for out of it are the issues of
life. Prov. 17:22 A merry heart doeth good
like medicine: but a broken drieth the
bones.
Pastors Partners
St. Matthew 10:41.
The Pastor's Partners
Ministry serves to assist Pastor and family
in various activities and celebrations. The
focus of this ministry is to exhibit love,
show support and give priority to those
efforts that demonstrate the congregation's
love and appreciation for the leadership and
dedication of pastor and family. The mission
of the ministry is to provide a service that
enhances the witness of Christ as Savior and
embraces the true meaning that the "greatest
of these is love". The Pastor's Partners
Ministry witnesses by serving and our
serving is a labor of love.
Praise Dancers
This ministry
seeks to fulfill the praise and worship of
God through the ministry of dance, dance
that is pleasing and Christ-centered. The
dance team will minister before the
congregation to 1) usher in a spirit of
reverence, worship and celebration,

Word of the Lord brought forth during the
message and 2) celebrate the goodness of God
through dance during special occasions and
services.
Season Adult Ministry
The purpose
of the Seasoned Adult Ministry is to extend
the mission of the FTMBC to the senior
members of the congregation. To assist them
in understanding the biblical role in their
senior years and how this relates to their
daily lives. To build self-esteem and
confidence in them by showing them how God
can still use them; to pray and intercede
together, to encourage and serve others
within the senior community using the
mission of the church as their guide.
Senior Ushers
The purpose
of the Ushers Ministry shall be that each
Usher represents God's heart to everyone
entering the sanctuary. An Usher needs to
make each person he/she has contact with
feel "special" because they are special to
God. This ministry to people is fundamental
and can be defined as helping those
attending our services to feel wanted,
comfortable and important regardless of
where they are in their spiritual
development, as defined by our Church
Mission Statement.
Meetings are held on
the forth Thursday of each month at 6:30
p.m.
