We have a Neo-Pentecostal style -- it is Bible based but not Fundamental; it is evangelical, enriching, enlightening, charismatic, inclusive and Holy Spirit inspired.

Faith Tabernacle is a welcoming congregation.  It is intentional in its outreach to invite all people to come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.   The church doors are anchored on the hinges of love.   

History

Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church was planted in April 1946.  The church has always been a part of the center city in Stamford.  The church has grown from 200 people in 1946 to more than 2000 congregants today.   

The church is served by its fourth pastor.  The congregation is progressive, empowering and social justice oriented.    The church has always been in the vanguard of spiritual enrichment, discipleship development and equipping of saints for ministry.
