How privileged and humbled I am that Faith's 63rd year occured during my pastoral watch. I commit myself anew to the preaching and teaching of the Gospel because this is not an age for the trumpet to give an uncertain sound. I renew my pledge to be faithful to my pastoral obligations and do all I can to lead you in the work of the Kingdom the Lord has laid to our charge.

My name is Dr. Tommie Jackson, and I serve am privileged to serve as pastor of the Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Welcome to the Faith Tabernacle web site. At "the Tabernacle," the congregation seeks to make Christ-Centered Disciples and a Christian assembly committed to the New Testament faith as revealed and lived in the LORD JESUS CHRIST. The people are a "Christ Centered Church in Center City". This web site was developed to allow you to get to know to more about the Church, as well as make information available to you around the clock.

The Church of Jesus Christ must focus on the kingdom of God. Christ came to initiate the work of the kingdom on earth. Jesus was quite clear in this when He taught His disciples to pray in St. Matthew 6:10 - "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven."

In keeping with Matthew 28, Believers should work toward sharing the good news of the kingdom with everyone to the glory of God.
